I'm pretty new to parkour, I love it! It helps condition my crap joints for the army, and keeps me fit! Otherwise I somewhat enjoy school, and quite enjoy production, work at gloria jeans coffees, my two bands, solo music, my radio show, being a youth group leader, having a social life, partying and hitting town even though i have work early the next day, and being a regular parishioner who rocks out on guitar, and is on the parish council. I however do not enjoy the homework coming with four pre-tertiaries and my house-keeping duties. I do enjoy being random and spontaneous. I also enjoy taking the Rookie Tracuer Class in Launceston, Tasmania, and being the only known female tracuer in the whole state!
I'd like to thank (in alphabetical order!) Aaron, Ben, Blaze, Brodie, Coops, Hamish, Jacob, Kane, Nathan (Fordy), Obi, Olly and Tyler, the Launceston parkour group. They have each taught me amazing things, like flying, so I thank them all.
Train hard, Train safe

yea, his a confusing one though.... thats not an insult, its just I dunno, I'd like to see more out of him on a Tuesday, to show some inititive, just if you notice everyone on a thursday has that vision, that goal. Like Obie if the group isn't doing what he wants to do he'll go off and do that so he increases where he thinks needs best. I dunno I think thats whats lacking most of all on Tuesday, everyone looks to you and me when really it is them who is the best judge of what they need to do. I dunno reall but if you think he is truly ready then he must be, as I trust your judgement or otherwise I wouldn't have got you to teach. All that stuff before is just added stuff to think about.
right, I'm going to try and teach him more of the philosophy. He's blinded by fame. I train until my body is in pain, he trains until he "gets bored". Thanks Coops and Nicole! After all flips aren't as cool with out parkour. Any one can do flips but not every one gains the courage for parkour. thanks guys you really helped.
hey, just throught I'd go through this channel as it doesn't matter how long this takes, but I'm thinking we should sit down and talk about who should maybe stop coming to Tuesday's.... I never really thought about it till you mentioned it but maybe over a couple a weeks I should take one out of the group and just see if they can do the techniques right, I mean like Blaze his good at precisions but his wall runs need improving and his philosophy.... its just little things like that.... just an idea
Just Show Him How Much More Fun Parkour Is Than Doing Flips. Like Maybe Say Get From This Spot To That Spot In A Certain Amount Of Time And If He Does To Many Flips Just Suggest Parkour Is About Getting To An Area In A Certain Amount Of Time And That Him Doing Flips Isn't . Idk I Just trying To Help Ya Keith
I just do tricking because its fun. I am much more passionate about parkour than freerunning because its better than just showing off all the time. But when Im at the beach and hills I like to do tricking because its fun and a bit more challenging for me considering I have to teach my self everything. Its sweet how you teach a class! My friend always wants to go to a crowded area and show off his flips but it irritates me. I only do flips to amuse myself not others, and he just does it to show off. We can never really go to any good parkour spots because hes always wanting to do flips. What should I do to get his passion for parkour back?
